File Preparation Specifications

Video Tutorial
Color / PMS Color Matching
- All images should be provided in CMYK color format at full production size when possible.
- Files should use Wrapmate's CMYK (Coated Gracol 2006) profile and be created on calibrated monitors.
- Rich black: spot color named Pure Black — 60C 40M 40Y 100K.
- Vector artwork should use PMS colors from Pantone PLUS Solid Coated Formula Guide.
- Each spot color must be named in the format PANTONE ColorName C.
Tile Breaks
- Non-reflective vinyl: continuous prints up to 59" wide.
- Reflective vinyl: continuous prints up to 47" wide.
- For non-seamless (wallpaper-style) projects, Wrapmate can make vertical tile breaks.
File Type / Resolution / Cut to Shape
- Wrapmate accepts PDF files only. Minimum resolution: 500 ppi at actual print size.
- Raster limits: maximum 30,000 pixels (width/height).
- Convert all fonts to outlines.
- Kiss Cut layer: dedicated layer, 0.1pt centered stroke, C50 M0 Y100 K0. Through Cut: C0 M100 Y0 K0.
- Bleed: 0.0625" beyond cut lines. Minimum text/art thickness: 0.125".
- Avoid overprint fills and transparency effects that may rasterize incorrectly.
- Perforated/window film will print differently from solid wrap films due to material differences.
General Guidelines
- Ensure all graphics are embedded and all layers organized.
- Verify spelling, punctuation, and grammar. Artboard must match art size including bleed.
- Maximum 200" linear length for art boards.
- Files should not be locked, encrypted, or password protected.
- Customer is responsible for layout, accuracy, and proofing prior to submission.
- Additional service fees apply when Wrapmate must adjust provided files to meet print standards.
